I couldn’t be more excited for tonight’s Gathering at AU.  We’ve never been big on calling attention to the names of people on stage, but I have to say that any night when Louis, Matt and Micah are leading worship together is bound to be pretty incredible.  Add into that the outreach potential of our Q&A service and I’m excited for what God is going to do.  I’m also praying for the grace I need to handle questions well.

In case you’re not familiar with Q&A, here’s the idea: every student who comes to The Gathering tonight gets a card where they can write any question they have about God, faith, the Bible or life.  Then rather than preach a message, I answer as many of them as possible in 40 minutes.  It’s not meant to be a stunt – it’s a great way to make sure we’re answering the real life questions people have about God.

We did a whole round of Q&A services last spring but AU got left out, so we’re making that right tonight.  Can’t wait to see how God uses it.
