Last night at AU was absolutely incredible!! It was one of those nights that is hard to put into words…passionate worship, students really tracking with Galatians and God stirring something powerful in so many hearts. I loved seeing students embrace the Gospel for the first time. It’s awesome to think of students walking into Kay spiritually dead last night and walking out spiritually alive in the arms of Christ. It’s what we’re all about as a ministry. Last night was such a beautiful celebration of the Gospel. I honestly wish you could have been there to experience it with us.
But here’s the best part – there are three more Gatherings this week. Tonight Georgetown and Mason come together to worship. College Park jumps in tomorrow night. Those nights might all look a little different but they are united in their focus on the exact same God. The God who breathed new life into AU last night is very much alive and well today. He has a mission at Mason. He’s moving at Georgetown. He has a plan for UMD. Who knows whether Tuesday night will be the high point of the week or not. What I do know is that God is not done!!! There is more to be done. More students to step into a relationship with Jesus.
I can’t wait for tonight. I can’t wait for tomorrow night. I can’t wait to worship the same One we sang so passionately to last night. It’s going to be amazing and you are not going to want to miss it. See you there!
John
