Laura and I are headed to New York tomorrow for a long weekend.  By the way, I’m not talking NYC.  I’m talking “Upstate” New York which is just another way of saying “almost Canada” New York.  When we arrive tomorrow it should be a very sunny 74 degrees.  That’s going to feel arctic after the crazy heat of this summer in DC.  But it’s also going to feel really good – not just the temperatures but getting a few days of rest.  I’ll post some pictures in an attempt to convince you that Lake Ontario is really one of the great places on earth.
