After weeks of planning, meeting and praying, I’m thrilled to announce The Gathering will be sending a team to Percin in Haiti at the end of June!!  Alirio Arreaza and Margalit De Gosztonyi are going to be leading this team and it’s open to students from all of our gathering campuses as well as students back home at MBC for the summer.  The team will leave on Monday, June 28th and return to DC on July 5th.  It’s going to be an amazing experience and we’re trusting God to work in powerful ways through that week with our friends in Percin.

The trip is obviously coming together very soon but God has opened up this window for us and we feel led to take advantage of it and get back to Percin.  Obviously, I would love to have you praying for Percin, Alirio and Margalit, the members of this team and the leadership of The Gathering as we prepare to honor Christ through this effort.  Please pray the Lord will provide all of the needed funds, great clarity about who should be on this team and wisdom to serve Percin well during this season.

If you are interested in going, we need you to apply online by this Wednesday (May 26th) at midnight.  If you are a UMD student who already applied for the March trip we had to postpone, you do NOT need to reapply.  Just email Alirio and let him know you want your application to be considered for this trip.
