I’m really excited to start a new series, Surrender To Mercy, at The Gathering this week.  Let me tell you the cool part right now – it’s a series on the Book of Jonah!  Yup, that Jonah…the one that has the run-in with the big fish.  But, trust me, there’s so much more in that book than the Sunday school story.  It’s an amazing story of the mercy of God, His heart to redeem and His joy in seeing sons and daughters live out His calling on their lives.  It’s going to be hugely encouraging to all of us.  I guarantee it will change the way you read Jonah and, Lord willing, change the way you live.

By the way, if you have friends you’ve been wanting to invite to The Gathering for a while, now’s the time to do it!  Don’t let the Jonah thing throw you, it’s going to be a series that speaks directly to them as well.

It’s going to be an awesome three weeks and I can’t wait to kick it off in these next few days.
