T-1 Hour

I’m constantly amazed at how many people give their time to make a single Gathering service possible.  It’s humbling, encouraging and fills me with such joy to know we’re all carrying this thing together.

I’m sitting in Dewberry Hall right now on Mason’s campus.  The Gathering starts in just over an hour.  As I look around, I’m blown away by how much is being done to turn a plain ballroom into a space that says we’re here for the King of kings.
Ashley, Dave, Mike, Brian and Bryan are sound checking on stage right now.  Sick set for tonight and they sound great.  We’ve got five members of our production team running around like crazy – they’ve already built screens and stages.  Now they’re working on the lights and seating.
Our connect team is setting up the welcome area.  They do such a good job of making simple tables look great.
In an hour, this place will be packed with students.  I can’t wait.  But I love these times as well – so amazing to serve with this team!
