Confessions of a Text Addict

I haven’t been able to receive texts since Friday. And it’s killing me!!

I can’t tell you how many of my friends are annoyed by this; at last count, I think all five of them were pretty upset! I hear it over and over, “Hey, thanks for getting back to me!” But the phone just won’t go for it.

I didn’t realize what a text addict I was until it all went away. Out of curiosity, how many texts would you say you send in an average day?

  1. I send an average of 13 a day, according to the “Sent” folder on my phone. Hooray for unlimited texting!

How can you be addicted to text messaging? Aren’t you aware that is a sin?

Roman 14:23: “Whatever is not of faith, is of sin.”

I highly doubt God wants you to become addicted to anything, considering you are fulfilling our own selfish desires in that sense. Have you repented yet for using text messaging service? As well as writing in this blog? Or doing your school work, for that matter?
