I’m going to be speaking at an event called auONE later tonight – 9PM in The Butler Boardroom on American’s campus, if you can make it. I love the vision behind auONE – to unite all the ministries on campus in a time of prayer and worship. It’s so good to break out of our own camps every once in a while and just come together to celebrate Christ and His heart to transform a generation.
I want to try something here – asking you to pray for American University when you read this. You don’t have to pray a long prayer; it’s cool just to ask God to stir the winds of revival on that campus. But I’m wondering if you would be willing to use the comments section to post both a short prayer and where you are praying from?
It would be kind of cool to step onto campus this evening and tell students they’ve been prayed over by a bunch of you who read this blog regularly. So, don’t be shy…and if you really get into this, invite some of your friends to post as well.
A prayer for this campus and its awakening to God’s love can be so overwhelming; there is so much confusion and so much need for truth. We can start by praying for unity among Christians on this campus- there is nothing more powerful than seeing brothers and sisters in Christ unified in love for each other and those around them. May tonight be a testimony to this and a beginning to a new AU!
Father, I pray that You would strengthen Your church here at American University. That we would have boldness and purpose in declaring Your gospel to our fellow students who don’t yet know You. Lord, I pray that we would be a light on this campus, reflecting Your glory, not our own. Please bless the service tonight and use it to unite Your church for Your glory.

May your light shine through us at American University. I pray that auONE wouldn’t be about who is there but about why we’re there.
Let your Holy Spirit fall on the Butler Boardroom, Father, and spark a revival at AU. Soften the hearts of students. Help them to realize that they need you more than anything.
Dear Lord Jesus,
We love you so very much. We want to thank you for always being there in the midst of us. Your Glory lights up this room at American U and your Majesty unites us in a new and fresh way than we have ever experienced before. We are standing hand and hand with you right this moment as we are seeking into your face. Thank you Lord for showing us your Heart for us to love you and one another. Please help in the power of your spirit to breakdown any stongholds that stop us from reaching out to one another in your love. Please show us your way in your eternal wisdom how to be real with one another. Please reign down your supernatural mercy to help those who are truley hurting or alone to take that step right now as I type to reach out to your unwavering Arms of Love. Thank you Lord for loving us so much.Your love is reigning down. And our Hearts are uniting in America at American. May you use us to ignite hope to our nation. In Jesus name We ask and Pray and Seek your will according to the riches of your Grace.Amen.Forevermore.Alleluia.
